Hi The reason I joined is First i enjoyed it last year, it was the first time I have been to something like that. The main reason though is I am trying to find out who is responsbile for the music set up. I am in a band called Friday's Child and I want to find out how to arange (if possible)  a slot to play at the feast. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. We are a professional band that plays rock and roll and believe me you wont be dissapointed.....;

I've been going to the Feast since I was a little girl. I would go with my parents, sister & brother. We would then meet my Uncles & Aunts and my Grandparents. It was so much fun going on the rides and the food was outstanding. A lot of my family passed away years ago but every year I was there with my Husband and kids. I lived in Conn. for 13 years and every Feast week-end I was here to celebrate. Even now I still go, along with my children,grandchildren and great grand children.I would never miss this Feast because it is a time of celebration and time to meet up with old friens and family.The Portuguese food is the best in the world and that is why I go to the Feast every year.

I have been going to the feast since I was a baby. My family was very big into the feast growing up my grandfather was the late Antonio Fernandes Jr. and my great grandfather was the late Antonio Fernandes Sr. They both had a very big role in the feast during there time. So I continue to go and take my family to honor them as well as teach my children the history of the feast and what it means.
